What Is Airport WiFi?
Airport WiFi is a managed Guest WiFi solution that controls how passengers and visitors access the Internet throughout an airport.
Different airport zones can use separate access policies and branded experiences while remaining part of the same centrally managed Guest WiFi environment.
Airport WiFi
Airport WiFi helps airports manage how passengers and visitors connect to Guest WiFi across terminals, lounges and other public areas.
Create branded WiFi login experiences, control Internet access, manage different airport locations and apply appropriate session time, bandwidth and speed policies for each type of passenger access.
Airports can also use WiFi as a passenger engagement channel with surveys, announcements, promotions, email campaigns, video ads and automated communication. Centralized statistics provide insight into WiFi usage and visitor activity across the network.

Airport WiFi Features
How Airport WiFi works

Passengers connect to the airport wireless network and are redirected to a branded Splash Page.
The airport can choose the appropriate login method and Guest WiFi experience for each location. Depending on the configuration, passengers can receive free access, authenticate through available login methods, complete a survey, view important information or interact with promotional content.
After authentication, WiFi Hotspot applies the configured Internet Plan, including session duration, available bandwidth, download and upload speed and other access limits.
Different Splash Pages, Internet Plans and campaigns can be assigned to different airport locations, allowing the WiFi experience to match the requirements of terminals, lounges and other passenger areas.

Create Different WiFi Experiences Across Airport Zones
Airport terminals serve passengers with different needs, so Guest WiFi does not have to use the same configuration everywhere.
Departures can provide convenient Guest WiFi while displaying flight-related information, airport services, retail promotions or other relevant content. Different Internet Plans can be used when airports want to provide standard free access together with optional premium access.
Arrivals can present useful information immediately after passengers connect, including ground transportation, airport services, local information, promotions or offers from businesses operating inside the airport.
VIP lounges can use separate Splash Pages and Internet policies designed for lounge visitors, including different bandwidth, session and access settings.
By organizing access points and network devices into WiFi Locations, administrators can apply different branding, Internet policies, surveys and campaigns to specific airport areas while managing them from one platform.
WiFi Marketing
Engage Passengers During Their Airport Journey

Airport Guest WiFi can provide more than Internet access. It can also create a direct communication channel with passengers while they are inside the airport.
Use branded Splash Pages and WiFi campaigns to promote airport services, duty-free offers, restaurants, transportation, lounges or other relevant services.
Video Ads can be included when visual campaigns are appropriate, but they do not have to be required for every WiFi connection. Different campaigns can be assigned to specific WiFi Locations so content remains relevant to the passenger’s location.
With appropriate contact permission, collected customer information can also be used for follow-up email, SMS or other configured campaigns.
Surveys can collect passenger feedback, while automation can trigger communication based on signup, WiFi activity or other configured conditions.
WiFi Tickets App
WiFi Tickets App provides a simple way for authorized airport staff to create and print WiFi access tickets when passengers or other users require controlled Internet access.
Create multiple tickets, define access through configured Internet Plans and reprint tickets when necessary.
The application is available for selected Android printers and Android phones, making it suitable for service desks, lounges and other locations where staff-assisted WiFi access is required.
